Isn’t it ridiculous that X (formerly known as Twitter) allows scammers, spammers and fake accounts but decidely, refuses to verify an account from a long time ‘confirmed’ account holder that has lost access to an email address.
We dont understand why “lost access” to an email account is difficult for X to understand, or how contacting our service provider is a viable option? If it were a option, we would have done it.
The account was created long before phone numbers became part of the process so phone number is not an option.
We have provided two separate proof of ownership methods that are foolproof, undeniable and crystal clear BUT, they require someone to look at them.
Privacy! Who’s privacy? Who’s privacy is X protecting? Who’s data is X protecting?
The reality is .. it is NOT support, it is pushing a button, that sends the email response below..
Sadly, X Support since Elon Musk took over has wained to the point of non existence. Elon doesn’t care, and gauging by the response, neither does his support team. Imagine having to work for X? Job satisfaction? I guarantee, the response is “at least I have a job” – Do you?
Very sad!

Hello,
We’re writing to let you know that we’re unable to verify you as the account owner. We know this is disappointing to hear, but we can’t assist you further with accessing your account.
If you know which email address/ phone number is associated with the account, and you no longer have access to that email or connected phone number, please contact your service provider for assistance.
For privacy reasons, we can’t provide any information about this account’s registered email address or phone number
We understand it’s frustrating to get locked out of an account, but we have these policies to protect accounts and private data. We appreciate your understanding.
You’re more than welcome to create a new account to get back onto X.
Please do not respond to this email as replies to this account are not monitored.
Thanks,
X Support
